WEDDING PLANNER
The Event Planner was founded from the desire to create well executed and memorable events that truly represent each client's vision. Our passion for weddings, corporate and social events coupled with a commitment to providing a great client experience, our goal was to build a foundation that focused on just being real and leaving the hype at the door.
We have a deep focus on our clients and their unique story, we strive to provide each client with the highest level of service throughout the planning process and construct an event that is everything our clients imagined and then some.

Some of the responsibilities of this position include:

Conduct planning calls with clients every 2-4 weeks (most often in the evenings) over the course of 9-18 months on average, to assist them in the planning and preparation of their wedding or event

Working with clients throughout the planning process in their Master Planning Spreadsheet to manage tasks, budgets, vendors, progress, event details etc.

Adhering to our detailed Planning Schedule to accomplish planning tasks

Assisting clients with vetting, getting quotes & booking venues and vendors that meet their needs by utilizing our Vendor List and leveraging existing vendor relationships.

Assistance with design and decor concepts to help them bring their vision to life.

Schedule and attend (typically virtually) final planning meetings with vendors.

Act as the liaison between clients and vendors to manage the details of the clients’ event

Creating detailed event day timelines and venue layouts

Be the first one on-site for the client’s event and the last to leave. Typically, a minimum of 12 hour days, often without breaks.

Management of all vendors on the day of the event. This includes arrivals, receiving & confirming deliverables, ensuring the adherence to the event schedule

Attending to the clients needs on event day and assisting guests as needed

Ensuring compliance with venue rules and policies.

Attend weekly virtual team meetings

Weekends are required
-
Being flexible with your schedule is a vital component of this position

Self-disciplined and willingness to hold yourself accountable are a must
-
Ability to professionally handle different personalities

Fluency with Google Docs is highly preferred
-
Hours will vary week to week based on your client load
-
Access to reliable transportation is a must
-
Home computer/laptop, ideally with a workspace that is free from distractions
-
Previous experience in the wedding & event industry preferred but not required
-
Perfect for someone that does not need a full time income

This is a 1099 position
